Plies was born on July 1, 1976, in Fort Myers. In 1994 Plies became one of the students who managed to graduate from the Fort Myers High School and although he could have developed a career in any field, the star decided to pursue a career in music. Plies has always loved music and the determination and devotion for his work proves that best. Plies has not only been a very talented singer, but also one of the few stars who believe in his music and its power to inspire people. Although Plies has always been considered a positive model, the star has not been able to stay away of all type of issues in his personal life. One of the most debated scandals in which Plies  has been involved is, of course, linked to his arrest in 2006. Back then, Plies was charged with illegal possession of a weapon, while the incidents involved open shooting in a nightclub. Some of the people in Plies' close entourage were actually charged with attempted murder. Luckily, the event has not left serious consequences on Plies' career, and fans have always remained supportive with the star.
